Important for all candidates

 

  • Applicant for admission MUST MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS set-forth by Bahria University.
  • Candidates are advised to CONFIRM THEIR ELIGIBILITY prior apply.
  • In case of annual system, eligibility will be determined on the basis of result in percentages.
  • In case of semester system, eligibility will be determined on the basis of CGPA obtained out of 4.00.
  • In case the result is shown both in CGPA and percentage, CGPA will be considered.

 

The academic eligibility of each program is elaborated as under:

 

BUSINESS SCHOOL (BUIC)/MANAGEMENT SCIENCES (BULC, BUKC)

 

BBA (2 Years)

[BBA (2 Years) is being run under “Business Studies” department of “Bahria Business School” at Islamabad Campus & Department of “Management Sciences” at Karachi / Lahore Campus]

Two years Bachelor’s degree (e.g. BA, BSc, B Com etc) with a minimum of 50% marks or CGPA 2.5/4.0 in any discipline

 

BBA (4 Years)

[BBA (4 Years) is being run under “Business Studies” department of “Bahria Business School” at Islamabad Campus & Department of “Management Sciences” at Karachi / Lahore Campus]

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (excluding NCC) in any discipline.

 

BS (Supply Chain Management)

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (excluding NCC) in any discipline.

 

BS (Accounting and Finance) (4 Years)

[BS Accounting & Finance is being run under “Management Studies” department of “Bahria Business School” at Islamabad Campus & Department of “Management Sciences” at Karachi / Lahore Campus]

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (excluding NCC) in any discipline.

 

BS (Economics) (4 Years)

[BS Economics is being run under “Management Studies” department of “Bahria Business School” at Islamabad Campus & Department of “Management Sciences” at Karachi / Lahore Campus]

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline.

 

BS (Business & Information Technology) (4 Years)

[BS Business & Information Technology is being run under “Management Studies” department  at  Lahore Campus]

Minimum 45 % marks in HSSC/FSc/ICS/ICOM/A-Level or equivalent.

 

BS (Business Analytics ) (4 Years)

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline.

 

ENGINEERING SCIENCES

 

BSE and BCE (4 Years)

Passed intermediate examination or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks (excluding NCC) in Pre–Engineering Group, or with Mathematics, Physics & Computer Studies.

 

BEE (Electronics/Telecommunication/Power)(4 Years)

  1. F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering)/A-levels/relevant DAE with (Physics, Chemistry and
    Mathematics) with minimum 60% marks.
  2. A combination of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Studies/ Computer Science (ICS) with minimum 60% marks are also allowed for admission in BEE program with Chemistry as a remedial subject course to be passed in 1st Semester after admission.

BS(CS) (4 Years)

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) Examination (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engg.) or equivalent qualification with Mathematics certified by IBCC.

Note: For Pre-Medical students, the following two deficiency courses of 3 credit hours will be taught.

  • Fundamentals of Mathematics I GSC 103 (3 Credit Hours)
  • Fundamentals of Mathematics II GSC 104 (3 Credit Hours)

“Students with Pre-medical background must furnish an undertaking that they must pass deficiency courses of Mathematics of 6 credit hours within one year of their regular studies. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission without any fee refund.”

 

BS(IT) (4 Years)

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) Examination (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engg.) or equivalent qualification with Mathematics certified by IBCC.

Note: For Pre-Medical students, the following two deficiency courses of 3 credit hours will be taught.

  • Fundamentals of Mathematics I GSC 103 (3 Credit Hours)
  • Fundamentals of Mathematics II GSC 104 (3 Credit Hours)

BS(AI) (4 Years)

BS(RIS) (4 Years)

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) Examination (Pre-Engg./Comp Science/Pre-Medical/DAE (all relevant field)) or equivalent qualifications with Mathematics certified by IBCC.

Note: For Pre-Medical students, the following two deficiency courses of 3 credit hours will be taught.

  • Fundamentals of Mathematics I GSC 103 (3 Credit Hours)
  • Fundamentals of Mathematics II GSC 104 (3 Credit Hours)

 

 

Associate Degree Program (CS) (2 Years)

  • Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate/12 years schooling/A- Level (HSSC) or Equivalent with Mathematics are required for admission in Associate Degree Computing. An equivalency certificate by IBCC will be required in case of education from some other country or system. The students who have not studied Mathematics at the intermediate level have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first two semesters

 

EARTH & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

 

BS in Geology/Geophysics/Environmental Sciences (4Years)

Passed intermediate with Pre–Medical/Pre–Engineering subjects or A-level/equivalent with at least 50%marks with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.

 

BS Geo sciences (4 Years)

  1. F.Sc. (Pre-Engg/Pre-Medical /A-levels/ICS (Second Division or 45% marks)
  2. Associate Engg. Diploma (Polytech) with Equivalent of 45% marks.
  3. BU Entry test & Interview

BS Remote Sensing & GIS

Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (HSSC) Examination (Pre-Medical / Pre-Engg. / ICS / General Science / Diploma of Associate Engineering) or equivalent qualification.

 

HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

 

BSS (Bachelor in Social Sciences)(4Years)

All candidates who have passed intermediate examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline can apply for admission to the four-years bachelor degree program in Social Sciences

 

BS (Public Health)(4Years)

FA/FSc 50% passing marks

 

BS (Mathematics)(4Years)

4 years program is 50% marks in aggregate in F.Sc./ ICS/ DAE/ General Science with major subject in Mathematics.

 

BS (English)(4Years)

12 years of education (minimum 50% marks) from HEC recognized educational institutes

 

MARITIME SCIENCES

 

BS MB & M (Bachelor in Maritime Business & Management)(2 Years)

14 Years of education in the form of Associate Degree in Nautical Sciences/ Ship Management of BA/ BSc in Maritime Studies with CGPA 2.0 or 50% Marks.

 

BS MB & M (Bachelor in Maritime Business & Management)(4 Years)

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in any discipline.

 

BS Coastal & Marine Sciences

HSSC/A-Level with 50% Marks.

MEDIA STUDIES

 

BS Media Studies (Bachelor in Media Studies)(4Years)

Minimum of 50% Marks in F.A/ F.Sc and equivalent.

 

BS Television Broadcasting & Digital Media (4Years)

Intermediate or A-level with a minimum of 50% marks.

 

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY

 

BS (Psychology)(4years)

Intermediate/A-level/Equivalent with at least 50% marks.

 

Waiver in Eligibility for Lahore Campus

Intermediate/A-level/Equivalent with at least 45% marks.

 

LAW

 

LLB

Candidates having passed Intermediates/A level or equivalent examination with 50% marks moreover cleared Law Admission Test (LAT) with 50% marks are eligible for admission however, those aspirants who have not appeared in LAT yet are also eligible to apply for admission but they have to submit result later with the required percentage, in other case admissions will be cancelled. After successful completion of the course requirements, a student will be awarded LLB degree. This will be an academic as well as a professional degree in law and legal studies.

 

ISLAMIC STUDIES

 

BS Islamic Studies

Intermediate or it’s equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline and Shahadah Khassah 50% with BCCI (UG) Equivalency Certificate.

 

MEDICAL & DENTAL SCIENCES

 

BS Bio-Technology
Candidates having 50% marks or above in Intermediate Science or equivalent examination are eligible to apply

 

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Intermediate Pre-Medical /Health Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% marks. The candidates having studied Applied Sciences  (Physics, Chemistry) and Basic Medical Sciences (Anatomy, Physiology) at Intermediate level are also eligible to get admission in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.

 

BS Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

Entry Requirement: FSc (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks or equivalent.

 

BS Nursing

The Applicant must meet the following mentioned criteria:

 

  • FSc (Pre-Medical) with 50% marks minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects) are eligible to apply and appear In entrance test which will be conducted by Bahria University on particular time and date.
  • Age Limit: 16-35 years
  • Open Merit

Hospitality & Tourism Management

 

  1. The minimum qualification necessary for admission to HSHM Level 4 & 5 programs, which leads to BSc (Hons) Programs, is the successful completion of FA/FSc/A level examinations.
  2. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in their respective examinations to be considered for the program.
  3. Any education gap is not considered while evaluating the eligibility of applicants.
  4. There is no age limit for enrolling in HSHM Level 4 & 5 programs, which leads to BSc (Hons) Programs, applications from all eligible candidates are welcome, regardless of age.
  5. The regular class timings for our HSHM program are from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
