Our objective is to equip students with the knowledge, analytical skills, and professional competencies required to excel and contribute meaningfully to society.

We believe that higher education must prepare thoughtful leaders capable of addressing the social, political, developmental, and cultural challenges facing Pakistan and the global community. To strengthen academic and professional exposure, FHSS maintains active linkages with industry, public institutions, and policy forums through MoUs, guest lectures, internships, conferences, seminars, and skills-development initiatives. These engagements ensure a strong balance between theoretical foundation and practical experience. The Faculty offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Undergraduate programs include Development Studies, English, International Relations, Media Studies, Social Sciences, and TV Broadcasting and Digital Media. Postgraduate programs include MS in Government and Public Policy, MPhil in International Relations, MS in English, MS in Applied Anthropology, MPhil in Islamic Studies, and MS in Media Studies, along with PhD programs in International Relations, Islamic Studies, and Media Studies. The launch of the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) BS in English has further expanded access to quality education. We also offer language certification programs in English, Arabic, Turkish, Chinese, and Russian to promote global engagement. FHSS is strengthened by a distinguished faculty of over 100 permanent, professors of Practice and 200 visiting members, serving a student body of more than 2,000.  Our graduates serve with distinction in public institutions, international organizations, academia, media, development sectors, and the corporate sphere.
