• Bahria University Head Office invites sealed bids for 100 KW Grid-Tied Solar PV System from firms, original manufactures/their authorized distributors/general suppliers in Pakistan registered with Income Tax & Sales Tax Department for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Solar System with Grid-Tied inventors etc without Batteries. The selected firm should obtain Solar Power Generation licenses for Bahria University from NEPRA for three years.  All equipment should meet NEPRA requirement for Grid Tied System.
• Interested firms may purchase bidding documents containing detailed specifications of required items against payment in cash of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) (non-refundable) from Dy Director Procurement’s Office, Room No,09, Basement Quaid Block, Bahria University Head Office, Islamabad till 29 May 2017.
• Single stage two envelopes procedure shall apply. A sealed bid box is placed at the Head Office Building Basement Quaid Building in front of Room No.9.  Sealed bids supported by NTN and GST registration certificates should reach DD Procurement’s Office by 1100 hrs on 30 May 2017.  Technical bids will be opened by the Technical Committee on same day after 1130 hrs in presence of the bidders who may choose to be present.  Date of opening of financial bids of shortlisted bidders will be intimated later on through letter/phone.  Bids are to be deposited with 2% bid security (Refundable) in the form of pay order/demand draft in favour of Bahria University Islamabad.  A pre-bid meeting will be held in BUIC on Tuesday 23 May 2017 at 1200 hrs to clarify any technical queries, if any.  Associate Professor, Mr. Jehanzeb Ahmed will attend the pre-bid meeting.  The University has the right to reject all or any bid prior acceptance by invoking Rule 33 of PPRA Rules.  The bidders are requested to give their best and final prices inclusive of all applicable taxes and transportation cost etc.  For any technical information, please contact Associate Professor, Mr. Jehanzeb Ahmed on Phone Number 051-111-111-028 Ext 272 and for procurement, Cdr (Retd) Gul Faraz PN on Ph.No.051-111-111-028 Ext 340 & 259.
