Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Management Science/ Business Administration degree from an HEC-recognized University/ Institution.
• The base degree must be in Management Science/ Business Administration.

Experience/Skills:

• 10-15 years overall or 08-10 years Post Ph.D. teaching/ research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
• Preferably at least 8-10 years of experience in National/ International level accreditation of Business Schools.
• The applicant must have 10 research publications (with at least 04 publications in the last 05 years in the HEC recognized Journals).
• Candidates having 05 years of field experience will be preferred.

Job Description: 

The Dean shall be responsible for the academic and research excellence of Bahria University, as under:

• Ensure proper conduct of all academic and research activities in the School in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the University and the regulatory/ accreditation bodies.
• Plan, conduct and follow up accreditation visits of the School by the accreditation/ regulatory bodies and ensure successful accreditation of the programs run by the Institute.
• Prepare expansion/ futuristic academic plans of the School and present them to the Head of the CU.
• Maintain close liaison with the Pro-Rector (Acad)/Head of CU and seek their assistance/ guidance in managing the academic and research activities in the School in accordance with University policies and guidelines.
• Ensure healthy interaction and coordination with accreditation bodies/ regulatory bodies and corporate stakeholders
• Smooth conduct of the admission process including the Entrance Test and interview of programs as planned by the University’s Admission Directorate and perform any other duty assigned by the Head of the CU.
