The Monthly Meeting of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Pakistan (SOGP), Rawalpindi–Islamabad Chapter, was organized by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology on 2nd April 2026 at the Bahria University Health Sciences Campus (BUHSCI). The session was held under the theme “Beyond the Needle: Tirzepatide and Digital Tools in Modern Women’s Health.”
The event was led by Prof. Dr. Saima Qamar, Head of the Department, alongside Prof. Dr. Ayesha Basharat and Dr. Beenish Khurram, who shared valuable insights on metabolic health, endocrine advancements, and the growing role of digital technologies in transforming women’s healthcare delivery.The event was honored by the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Mehmood, a senior consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The session was well attended by consultant obstetricians and gynaecologists from the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, reflecting strong professional engagement and academic interest.
The program concluded with remarks from the Principal, Bahria University College of Medicine, followed by the presentation of shields to the guests and a vote of thanks, marking a successful and impactful academic gathering.
