It is stated that the Research Cell, BUCM successfully conducted an official visit to KRL Hospital and the Institute of Biomedical and Genetic Engineering (IBGE) on 16 December 2025 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM as part of the industrial linkage initiative.
The visit was coordinated by the following faculty members:
During the visit, meetings were held with the administrative, clinical, and research representatives of KRL Hospital and IBGE. The discussions focused on strengthening academic cooperation, exploring collaborative research opportunities, and enhancing institutional and industrial linkages. Key areas of mutual interest included clinical and translational research, biomedical research collaboration, faculty engagement, student research exposure, and joint research initiatives.
The visit was highly productive and successfully met its objectives. Both institutions showed keen interest in establishing long-term collaboration through joint research projects, academic and research exchange programs, and future collaborative activities.
The successful completion of this visit marks an important step toward strengthening academia–industry linkages and promoting collaborative research between BUCM and KRL Hospital/IBGE.
