Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad Signs MoU with Institute of Biomedical and Genetic Engineering Islamabad

Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad (BUHSCI) has successfully established a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Biomedical and Genetic Engineering (IBGE), marking an important step toward strengthening institutional collaboration in biomedical sciences and related research domains.

Dr. Nesheman Huma, Research Officer, Research Cell BUCM, served as the Focal Person from BUHSCI and played a key role in facilitating the successful completion of the MoU. The collaboration was achieved through months of dedicated coordination, communication, follow-ups, and persistent efforts to bring the partnership to fruition.

The MoU provides a valuable framework for research collaboration, knowledge exchange, capacity building, and joint scientific initiatives between the two institutions. It is expected to create new opportunities for faculty members, researchers, and students to collaborate and share expertise in areas including biomedical sciences, biotechnology, genomics, molecular diagnostics, and other interdisciplinary fields.

The collaboration reflects BUHSCI’s commitment to fostering meaningful institutional partnerships and promoting research-driven innovation. Through this MoU, both institutions can explore opportunities for joint research projects, academic and scientific activities, knowledge sharing, and capacity-building initiatives.
