QUALIFICATION
Candidates must possess a minimum of 16 years of education, preferably an MS/M.Phil. degree from an HEC-recognized university.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- Preferably a minimum of 03 years of relevant experience at a university or a reputable corporate organization in the areas of placement, career services, student affairs, community engagement.
- Excellent communication, coordination, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with industry, employers, alumni, NGOs, and community organizations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Director of Placement & Community Engagement shall be responsible for the following:
- Develop and strengthen linkages with industries, corporate organizations, government departments, NGOs, and other employers to enhance internship and employment opportunities for Bahria University students and graduates.
- Coordinate placement activities across all campuses in collaboration with campus Placement Offices.
- Facilitate internship and job placement opportunities through employer engagement, recruitment drives, and career networking initiatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of employers, internship providers, placement and Community Support program statistics.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare reports on graduate employability, internship placements, and employment trends for university management and accreditation bodies.
- Conduct employer satisfaction surveys and obtain feedback to improve graduate employability and career services.
- Develop partnerships with community organizations, NGOs, government agencies, and industry partners to promote community engagement, volunteerism, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Coordinate community outreach programs, awareness campaigns, social responsibility projects, and student volunteer activities in line with the University's strategic objectives.
