QUALIFICATION:
- MBBS/ BDS or equivalent degree recognized by PM&DC. MS/ Masters in a subject related to Health Sciences from HEC recognized University.
EXPERIENCE/ SKILL:
- Civilian Doctor or Retired Captain PN/ Commander PN/ equivalent with at least 10 years’ experience in a University Administration or in a Military Medical Unit respectively.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Deputy Director Health Sciences shall be responsible for following:
- Handle matters related to PM&DC, PN&MC & PPC, and other government health authorities, with respect to the constituent / affiliated medical, dental and nursing institutes.
- Assist Examination Directorate in matters related to MBBS and BDS examinations.
- Assist in conducting visit of the accreditations / regulatory bodies.
- Act as a member of the Affiliation Committee for the health institutes.
- Handle matters related to BUHS, Karachi as well as Islamabad campus.
- Any other duty assign by the higher authorities.
