ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – LPDC BUHO
QUALIFICATION:
16 years of education, preferably MBA in HR, Marketing, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 03 to 05 years of experience in corporate training, professional development, client relationship management, training/ project management, learning and development, and business development.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist in developing and implementing corporate training and executive education strategy aligned with university and LPDC objectives.
- Plan, execute and evaluate customized corporate programs, workshops, seminars, open enrollment and executive education programs ensuring alignment with BU goals and LPDC objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and ensuring program offerings meet or exceed expectations.
- Assist Deputy Director and Director LPDC in conducting needs assessments and continuously update program content to reflect industry trends and best practices.
- Facilitate internal and BUHO approvals for corporate training and executive education activities.
- Represent LPDC in corporate meetings, external engagements, and university-hosted executive programs as needed.
- Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure efficient, high-quality program delivery.
- Maintain records of all corporate and executive education programs for compliance and provision of information to other directorates within BU or to external bodies such as HEC, ministry of education, etc.
- Oversee LPDC’s website, social media, and information portals relevant to corporate training and executive programs, supervising support staff as needed.
- Provide regular updates on the impact and progress of corporate training and executive education initiatives.
- Assist the Deputy Director/Director LPDC in the successful execution of corporate training programs and routine tasks.
- Ensure availability and readiness for the effective execution of programs as and when required.
- Manage LPDC operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the directorate.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Director LPDC in the domain of LPDC’s scope of work.
