QUALIFICATION
Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Communication, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field. Any additional qualifications will be preferred.

EXPERIENCE
Typically 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in advancement, alumni relations, fundraising, communications, institutional development or stakeholder engagement. Any additional experience will be preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES.
Following are key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive alumni engagement strategies to strengthen lifelong relationships between the university and its graduates.
  • Monitor AD Alumni Affairs in maintaining and regularly updating the alumni database and communication platforms.
  • Organize alumni reunions, networking events, chapter meetings and recognition programs.
  • Facilitate alumni participation in mentoring, internships, career guidance and institutional initiatives.
  • Assist in designing and implementing fundraising campaigns, donor engagement programs and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Identify potential donors, sponsors and partners from alumni, corporate sector and philanthropic organizations.
  • Coordinate donor relations activities including acknowledgments, stewardship and reporting.
  • Support the development of proposals, sponsorship packages and funding appeals.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with corporate partners, foundations and external stakeholders.
  • Promote university programs, achievements and development priorities through strategic outreach.
  • Facilitate industry engagement initiatives that benefit academic, research and student development activities.
  • Oversee alumni and advancement communication strategies including newsletters, reports, digital campaigns and social media outreach.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for content creation and dissemination of institutional achievements.
  • Support development of IT-enabled platforms for alumni networking and engagement.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of alumni data, donor contributions and advancement activities.
  • Prepare periodic reports, analytical briefs and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, financial regulations, and donor reporting requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate alumni events, fundraising campaigns, institutional ceremonies and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Manage logistics, budgets and coordination with internal departments for successful execution of programs.
  • Assist the Director D-AAA in formulating advancement strategies, policies and annual work plans.
  • Conduct benchmarking and research on best practices in university advancement and alumni relations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of advancement systems and processes.
