QUALIFICATION:

• Minimum 16 years of qualification in Biostatistics/ Statistics; Ph.D./ master’s degree holder will be preferred.
• Minimum 03 Years of experience in a renowned Public or Private University of Pakistan.
• Proficiency in statistical softwares, specifically SAS, SPSS and Python, along with SQL, MATLAB, or other data management tools.
• Strong understanding of epidemiological principles and health-related research methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Study Design & Planning: Developing methodologies for data collection, designing clinical trials, determining sample sizes, and ensuring appropriate randomization.
• Data Analysis & Management: Managing, and analyzing complex, large data sets using statistical software to detect trends or patterns.
• Interpretation of Results: Interpreting statistical findings to evaluate the efficacy of treatments, the risk factors of diseases, or the impact of public health interventions.
• Reporting & Dissemination: Preparing detailed reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and co-authoring scientific papers for publication.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that clinical trials and data procedures adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g., Country Regulatory bodies and Good Clinical Practice).
• Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary teams, including epidemiologists, clinicians, and researchers, to provide statistical input on research projects.
