Bahria University College of Medicine (BUCM) proudly participated in the 9th PAK Health Expo, Pakistan’s leading B2B platform dedicated to the medical and healthcare sectors. The prestigious annual event was held at the Pakistan–China Friendship Center on 22nd to 24th January 2026, Islamabad, and attracted nearly 10,000 visitors along with around 200 exhibitors from across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
BUCM actively contributed to the expo through an engaging and informative exhibition stall. Faculty members and students warmly welcomed visitors and provided detailed insights into the academic programs, research initiatives, and overall vision of Bahria University College of Medicine. The stall featured student-designed models and educational posters, which became a major point of attraction for attendees due to their creativity and academic relevance.
In addition to informational activities, BUCM students actively engaged visitors by offering basic health assessments, including blood pressure (BP) monitoring and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations. These interactive activities not only enhanced visitor engagement but also reflected the institution’s commitment to community health awareness and practical medical education.
The academic presence of BUCM was further strengthened through expert presentations delivered during the expo. Senior Professor Dr. Wafa Omer, Director Research Cell BUHSCI, delivered a topic-relevant presentation highlighting research advancements and academic contributions. This was followed by insightful presentations from Dr. Saira Karimi and Dr. Nesheman Huma, adding significant value to the academic discourse at the event.
A strong emphasis was placed on industrial linkage and collaboration. Productive meetings and exchanges of ideas were held with representatives from various healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. These interactions are expected to lead to fruitful collaborations, partnerships, and future opportunities for Bahria University College of Medicine in both academic and research domains.
