Bahria University has constituted Inquiry Committees at all campuses and approved a Standing Appellate Body in strict compliance with the HEC Policy on Protection against Harassment in Higher Education Institutions (Revised 2025), as well as all applicable Government rules and Acts.
Harassment Complaint Cells are established at each campus with two designated Focal Persons. Their primary role is to provide support and immediate assistance to individuals who have experienced sexual harassment. Additionally, these cells assist campus management in implementing the policies in both letter and spirit. Detailed functioning of the Focal Persons is outlined in the HEC Policy Guidelines.
These bodies are mandated to receive, review, and inquire into complaints of harassment in a fair, transparent, confidential, and lawful manner. The Standing Appellate Body, approved by the Board of Governors, hears appeals submitted by students against decisions of campus-level Inquiry Committees.
For guidance, facilitation, and information regarding the submission of complaints under the Protection Against Harassment Policy, students may initially contact the designated Campus Focal Persons.
