ASSISTANT CONTROLLER OF EXAMS (ODL) – BUHO
QUALIFICATION
Candidates having master’s degree in computer science (2nd Division) with 5-years’ experience in reputable organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION
ACE (ODL) shall be responsible for:
- Act as In-charge ODL Section.
- Ensure timely Compilation/ promulgation of ODL Semester Results.
- Prepare lists of ODL students placed on Probation1, Probation2 & Dropped.
- Undertaking the following ODL activities:

- Issuance of ODL Examinations Schedule in coordination with Campus.
- Promulgation of Date sheet/ rescheduling of Exams as per requirements.
- Conduct of Examinations at designated Exam Centres.
- Generating Exam Entrance Slip through concerned Campus.
- Up-dation of ODL academic roadmaps in ERD upon approval by ACM in co-ordination with DBA.
- Verification of ODL Final/ Interim Transcripts prior signature of CE/ DCE.
- Scrutiny of students’ complaints pertaining to alteration / reissuance of Final/ Interim Transcripts.
- Scrutiny of provisional/ completion certificates prior signature of DCE.
- Invigilation and Supervision of ODL exams, where required.
- Appoint Superintendents and Invigilators for the conduct of ODL Exams, if required.
- Supervising control rooms, conducting remote inspections, validating exam data and addressing result-related inquiries.
- Handling inquiries from exam centres and students.
- Scrutiny of CUs proposals for award of Medal winners in Convocations.
- Accountability/ maintenance/ contract management/ upkeep and record keeping of computers/ machines/ printers in use at ODL Section.
- Up-dation of Examinations Rules/ Policies/ etc. in ERD after approval by ACMs/ HERCM/ Deans Committee Meetings in coordination with DBA.
- Safe custody and accountability of all blank transcripts.
- Any other task assigned by CE/ DCE (ODL).
