The Government of Punjab has launched the Chief Minister’s Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025 to provide merit-based scholarships for deserving and outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in leading universities and colleges. Bahria University takes pride in being part of this program for the first time.
Under this initiative, the tuition fee of selected students will be covered through a cost-sharing formula, with 50% funded by the Government of Punjab and 50% contributed by Bahria University. This collaboration aims to ensure access to quality education for academically strong students facing financial constraints, enabling them to excel in their academic careers without financial burden.
Eligibility Criteria:
No age limit
Punjab domicile required
Open to all genders
Students already enrolled in 1st year MBBS/BDS (2025) are also eligible
Selection will be strictly merit-based
Minimum Marks Requirement:
MBBS/BDS (Public Sector Medical/Dental Colleges): ≥ 80%
Federal and Private Universities: ≥ 70% (Sciences), ≥ 65% (Arts & Social Sciences)
Monthly family income:
Less than Rs. 350,000/- for Public Sector HEIs
Less than Rs. 500,000/- for Federal / Private Sector HEIs
