QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

MS(CS)/MS(IT)/MS(SE) or equivalent (1 8 years of education) with 10 years of relevant experience

OR

BS(CS)/BS(IT)/ BSE/BCE/MCS or equivalent (16 years of education) with 12 years of relevant experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Deputy Director IT is to ensure following:

• Manage and monitor LANNVAN network services.
• Maintain an inventory of all network devices.
• Replacement of failed hardware and addressing system problems.
• Project management, security, asset management, customer service or help desk departments to resolve problems and manage projects.
• Oversee development and maintenance of computer systems and setting of intranets.
• Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction.
• Design and implement system security and data assurance.
• Responsible for system hardware and software upgrades ensuring system wide availability and capacity needs are met in a timely fashion.
• Provides skilled technical support in liaison with vender technical personnel to install products.
