QUALIFICATION

• MBBS; MS/ M.Phil in Public Health or in relevant domain

EXPERIENCE/ SKILL

• Preferably 15 Years of experience in a reputable hospital or in renowned Public or Private University/Institute of Pakistan

JOB DESCRIPTION
Director HS is responsible for the following:

1. Handle matters relating to the induction of teaching faculty for the BUHSC.
2. Handle matters relating to the PM&DC, PN&MC, AHPC and PPC, and liaise with government health authorities.
3. Handle matters relating to health education in the affiliated medical, dental, and nursing institutes.
4. Act as Member and Secretary of the Faculty Board of Studies for the Faculty of Health Sciences, and as Member of the Academic Council.
5. Deal with all BUHSC matters at the Head Office level.
6. Act as a member of the Selection Committee for the induction of teaching faculty for the BUHSC and maintain updated faculty records in accordance with the requirements of the PM&DC, PN&MC, AHPC and PPC.
7. Act as a member of the Affiliation Committee for Health Sciences institutes.
8. Perform any other duties assigned by the Pro-Rector (HS).
