On 18th June 2026, Bahria University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASAL Innovations Pvt. Ltd. for the establishment of the Huawei Lab at Bahria University, reinforcing its commitment to promoting innovation, research, and technology-driven education. The signing ceremony, chaired by the Honourable Rector, Vice Admiral Abid Hameed HI(M), underscored the significance of academia-industry collaboration in fostering innovation, advancing emerging technologies, strengthening practical learning opportunities, and creating avenues for collaborative research and skill development. The partnership aims to equip students and faculty with cutting-edge technological exposure while supporting the advancement of Pakistan's digital ecosystem.
