On 18th June 2026, Bahria University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) to strengthen collaboration between academia and Pakistan's information technology industry. The partnership reflects the University's commitment to fostering innovation, promoting entrepreneurship, and preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the digital economy.
The signing ceremony, chaired by the Honourable Rector, Vice Admiral Abid Hameed HI(M), emphasised the importance of building sustainable industry-academia linkages. The collaboration will facilitate knowledge exchange, industry engagement, professional development, internships, career opportunities, and joint initiatives that enhance students' practical exposure while contributing to the advancement of Pakistan's technology sector.
