Community Medicine & Public Health Department

The Department of Community Medicine at Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Islamabad(BUHSCI) stands as a vital pillar in medical education, emphasizing the transition from individual clinical care to the broader horizon of population health. Our curriculum is designed to move beyond the classroom, immersing students in the realities of epidemiology, health promotion, and the intricate social determinants that shape the wellbeing of our society.

By integrating rigorous research initiatives with hands-on community engagement, we prepare our students to identify health inequities and develop innovative, evidence-based strategies to mitigate them. Under the mentorship of seasoned public health experts, our future healthcare leaders gain a holistic understanding of preventive medicine and primary healthcare delivery.
