How to apply Important Dates Scholarships Admission Quota Test Exemption Quick Contact Offered Programmes

  1. BU Entrance Test of Undergraduate Programs shall be based on the pattern as mentioned below, 100 MCQs in a CBT. Each question shall be presented with four answer options. There is no negative marking. Only one of which shall be correct. The test shall carry 100 marks and time allowed shall be 120 minutes.

  1. For BS (Psychology), BS (English), and BS (Islamic Studies) the test shall consist of the following 3 sections:

    1. 50% English

    2. 25% General Knowledge

    3. 25% Verbal Reasoning


Note:

Following academic subjects form Verbal Ability, Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Reasoning:

  • English Comprehension

  • English Grammar

  • Algebra

  • General Maths


For all MBA/MS/LLM/MPhil Programs, there shall be 100 MCQs in a CBT. Each question shall be presented with four answer options. Only one of which shall be correct. The test shall carry 100 marks and time allowed shall be 120 minutes.

The test shall comprise three/four sections:

  1. Verbal Reasoning

  2. Quantitative Reasoning

  3. Analytical Reasoning

However, the actual percentage of each subject shall vary as shown below:

For PhD admission test (equivalent: NTS-GAT-General), there shall be 100 MCQs in a CBT. Each question shall be presented with four answer options. Only one of which shall be correct. The test shall carry 100 marks and time allowed shall be 120 minutes.

The test shall comprise three sections:

  1. Verbal Reasoning

  2. Quantitative Reasoning

  3. Analytical Reasoning
