The students organized a two-phase event on campus.
In Phase 1, an awareness session was held. It explained what thalassemia is, how it is caused, and the challenges faced by patients with thalassemia major. It also highlighted the importance of blood donation in helping these patients.
In Phase 2, a blood donation camp was organized. The medical team from KITCC handled all the screening and blood collection on-site.
