Programmes Offered +

Bachelor of Studies in English

The BS in English programme aims to cultivate an appreciation of the English language and literature through reading, writing, researching, and thinking about texts in the widest context in the service of a rich and meaningful life.

  • 4-year programme divided into 8 semesters .
  • Students are required to complete 135 credit hours with a minimum of 2 CGPA, 6-week internship, and 20 hours of community work.
  • Includes research thesis option.
  • Courses cover literature, linguistics, TEFL, discourse analysis, and critical thinking.
  • Student progress is continuously monitored through assignments, quizzes, discussion boards, and other online activities to ensure consistent engagement.
  • Prepares young professionals and researchers with solid linguistic foundations.

Access Bahria University’s official admission portal and fill out the online form carefully with valid and complete information.

Upload Documents

Upload scanned academic transcripts, CNIC, domicile, and any other required documents as per the admission guidelines.

Verification

The concerned campus/unit will verify your submitted documents online before provisional admission is approved.

4

Confirmation

After successful verification, an admission offer will be sent. Complete the fee payment and enrollment formalities to confirm your admission.

Eligibility Criteria +
 

Minimum 12 years of education (Intermediate or equivalent) with at least 45% marks in any discipline. 

 

All scholarships and financial aid available to regular students are equally applicable to ODL students.

Assessment Procedure +
 

Continuous Assessment

Students are evaluated throughout the semester using assignments, graded activities, quizzes, and online participation.

 Examinations

The students will physically appear for summative assessments comprising mid-term and final exams at designated exam centers in a secure and controlled environment.

Academic Integrity

All assessments follow BU’s strict academic integrity policies, ensuring rigorous and fair evaluation.
