3RD NATIONAL MARITIME SEMINAR (NMS) 2016.
The Third national maritime seminar was held on 21 January 2016 on the topic of “China – Pakistan Economic Corridor: It’s Maritime Implication for Pakistan” Admiral (R) Shahid Karimullah NI(M), SJ, Former Chief of the Naval Staff graced the occasion as the Chief Gest, while Vice Admiral (R) Khalid Mohammad Mir HI(M) S Bt as Guest of Honour.
2ND NATIONAL MARITIME SEMINAR (NMS) 2014.
The second national maritime seminar was held on 27 MARCH 2014 on the topic “Policy and regulatory framework governing maritime sector of Pakistan”. Chairman PNSC Muhammad Siddique Memon was the Chief Guest for the opening session and, then, Vice Admiral Muhammad Zaka Ullah HI (M) was the Chief Guest for the Closing Session. The proceedings of this seminar were dispatched to all concerned departments and libraries.
1ST NATIONAL MARITIME SEMINAR (NMS) 2010.
A 02-day National Maritime Seminar (NMS 2010) on the topic of “Development of fisheries sector-Analysis of issues & formulation of strategies” was held at Bahria University Karachi Campus on 28-29 June 2010. Representatives of the public sector & experts from various fisheries organizations participated in the event. All relevant issues were analysed with a view to formulate viable solutions and make suitable recommendations to enable the fisheries sector to flourish in a sustainable environment. The proceedings of this seminar were dispatched to all concerned departments and libraries.
