MARITIME DISCOURSE:

National Centre for Maritime Policy Research (NCMPR) has started “Maritime Discourse” series to provide a valuable platform for discussing apt maritime issues being faced by Pakistan.  Till date, six (6) in number sessions of Discourse have been conducted. Details are:

6^th Discourse on topic “NSG and its membership criteria – a case for Pakistan” by Ms. Maria Sultan was held on 1^st July 2016

5^th Discourse with all maritime experts was held on 27th August 2015 at Services Club, Karachi. Issues and challenges of in the maritime domain of Pakistan were discussed by the experts.

4^th Discourse was held on the occasion of World Oceans’ day on 5th June 2015 at Bahria University Karachi Campus. Dr Nuzhat Khan delivered a lecture on “Role of NIO”

3^rd Discourse on topic “The Future of Gwadar” on 20th March 2015 by CEO of China Overseas Port Holding Company Mr. Zeng Qingsong.

2^nd  Discourse on topic Maritime Vision 2015 by Captain Anwar shah was held on 27th May 2014

1^st Discourse on the occasion of World Seafarers Day was held on “Inside Story of MTMORNING GLORY” on 21st June 2014. The speaker was Captain Mirza Noman Baig ex-Master of MT MORNING GLORY.
