The students of Media Studies 1A carried out their final Conceptual Photography project and organized an exhibition with the assistance of their Faculty Members.

Conceptual photography is a branch of photography in which photos taken convey a deeper implicit message to the audience. Every photo taken has some subliminal message that is portrayed through the action of the subject or the objects used in it. The photos spoke out to the audience through audio medium. Moreover Film posters and Levitation photography was also a part of this Exhibition.

The theme of the Exhibition was “Pain”, and pain was portrayed through several subthemes like, Men Mental Health Issue, Personality Disorders, Domestic Abuse, Rape, Harrasment, Societal pressures, Women Oppression, Forced Marriages and so on.

Important to note here is that those students are of First semester and weren’t familiar with Photography Concepts and Techniques, Media Studies Department is immensely proud of its “First Semester” students and the faculty members for conducting this creative Exhibition.
