Stage 1: Know if you are an International Student?
Students who hold foreign nationality by birth are considered as International Students.
Stage 2: Selection of Degree programme
International students seeking admission to Bachelor’s Level degree programs shall go through the list of programs offered for the Spring 2024 semester by Bahria University. Detailed Road Map and eligibility criteria of each program is available on website for review and decision by the applicants.
Stage 3: Online Application
Once the applicant decides on the degree program he/she can Apply Online. The admission application fee is waived off for International aspirants and applicants can apply by filling a simple user friendly form. Applicants are advised to keep soft copies of the following documents ready as applicants are required to upload softcopies of the below listed documents while applying online.
- Statement of purpose.
- Scans of degrees and transcript of all post-secondary degrees (with English translation where required).
- Latest passport size photograph with blue background.
- Scan of valid passport.
- IELTS minimum score 5.0 band or TOEFL minimum score 70 or English proficiency certificate from the last attended institution.
Stage 4: Scrutiny
Once the application is received it is scrutinized and the applicant is informed through email for any additional/missing documents, if required. The applicant is to submit the missing/additional documents through email to internationaloffice@bahria.edu.pk
Stage 5: Evaluation
Upon completion the application is forwarded to the concerned academic department for evaluation and decision on provisional admission. Once the decision is communicated by the departmental committee the applicant is informed in writing. A provisional admission letter is issued to the successful applicants outlining the conditions to be fulfilled during the time frame of first semester as requirement of the admission process.
Stage 6: Entry Test
Please note that admission entry test is exempted for International Students applying for admission to Bachelor Level Degree Programs. However, academic departments retain the right to call applicants to appear for BU entry test if entry test is a compulsion by the regulatory body.
Stage 7: Fee Submission
Upon confirmation of provisional admission Fee challans are issued to the successful candidates. Bahria University charge same fee from local and international students. Copy of fee challan can be downloaded from student’s profile. A deadline to deposit the fees is communicated. Multiple options are provided to International Students residing in Pakistan and their home countries to deposit the fee including Online transaction. For details please click here.

Further to confirmation of provisional admission, the International Office assists applicants with documentation for securing study visa including provision of assistance for securing No Objection Certificate from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

To acquaint students with University Orientation session is held before commencement of each semester. The program of session is as follows:

- Departmental overview
- A brief description of On-Campus facilities
- Student handbooks
- Departmental brochures

Students who are available in Pakistan and wish to appear for the Bahria University Entry Test are informed through email and entry Test Slip is issued to them. To know more about Bahria University entry test please visit:
Please note, in case if a candidate appears for Bahria University entry test (CBT) and fail to pass the test with minimum passing marks he/she will still be awarded provisional admission and time frame of first semester to clear and submit result of either GAT or GRE test with minimum 50% passing marks.

Stage 6: Entry Test
International students seeking admission to PhD Programs at Bahria University are required to clear either Bahria University entry test Known as CBT with 70% passing marks or submit score of GAT (Subject) with 60% passing marks. Students who are available in Pakistan and wish to appear for the Bahria University Entry Test are informed through email and entry Test Slip is issued to them. Please note clearance of any of the above mentioned tests is a mandatory requirement for PhD candidates before award of the provisional admission.
Stage 7: Final Interview
If a candidate clears the entry test requirement, he/she is scheduled to appear for final interview. Decision on award of provisional admission is made during the final interview. If successful a provisional admission letter is issued to the applicant outlining the conditions to be fulfilled till by him/her till end of first semester.
