Director Lahore Campus Commodore Shahid Azmat Wain SI(M) PN (Retd.)
(2019-Present)

Commodore Shahid Azmat Wain SI(M)  (Retd) was commissioned in Pakistan Navy in 1982. After serving on various surface ships he qualified Surface Warfare Officer Course (SWO) from USA. He graduated from PN Staff College as well as German Staff College. Subsequently he did Armed Forces War Course from National Defence University Islamabad (MS War Studies-05/06).

Cdre Shahid’s Sea Command appointments include Commanding Officer PN Ships HIMMAT, MAHMOOD, KALMAT as well as Commanding Officer Maritime Security Ship NAZIM. His various appointments ashore include Squadron Commander at Pakistan Naval Academy (PNA), Commandant Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB), Dy Director General, Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Naval Provost Marshal (NPM) Karachi, Chief Staff Officer (CSO) to COMKAR and ACNS (Admin & Security), NHQ.

He was entrusted with job of Drafting Authority, to look after all the aspect of Human Resource Management of Pakistan Navy.  As Commodore Training Ashore he looked after the training of officers/sailors as well as colleges/schools of Pakistan Navy at Karachi. In addition, he was also Member of Board of Governors Cadet Colleges (Petaro & Sanghar), and NUST Academic Council.

In recognition of the meritorious service in the Navy, Cdre Shahid Wain was also awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Upon completion of 32 years of service in the Navy, Cdre Shahid joined Media Industry as Vice President.

In 2019, he was selected as Director, Bahria University Lahore Campus. He is leading the campus with more than 1200 students in various disciplines, at undergraduate and Post Graduate level.

Deputy Director Lahore Campus Cdr Faisal Shabbir T Bt PN (Retd.)
(2016 – Present)

Cdr Faisal Shabbir T Bt PN (Retd) has over 26 years of experience in Senior HR, Administrative and Security positions. During the service in Navy, he had the opportunity to serve in positions that were linked with various facets of Human Resource Management, Project management, and Administration. Twice having command of sea-going ships manifested in the implementation of Administration and HR practices in practically challenging scenarios. He has completed large projects ranging from construction of a Naval ship to re-vamping of a sports club that included contract management, monitoring, and financial aspects.

He completed MBA (HRM & Marketing) in 2003, MSc Strategic Studies in 2005 and MPhil Management Sciences in 2018 from Bahria University. He has also attended various courses on Project Management, Balance Scorecard, Security and HR Management / Development from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Cdr Faisal is a graduate of PN War College. In addition, he has attended and qualified Command Course from premier Chinese Naval Command College, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China with distinction in 2009

Cdr Faisal has extensive training experience gained as Head of training and administration at PN Engineering College, a constituent college of National University of Science & Technology. He was responsible for round the clock training and administrative aspects including HR management, security, discipline and co / extra-curricular activities. He has developed and implemented training programs; and delivered lectures to students at PNEC – NUST.

At Navy’s School of Management as Head of HRM Wing, he designed and conducted short courses on Training & Development, and delivered lectures on Leadership, Motivation & Decision Making to senior level command courses designated for command of Ships, Submarines, and Aviation Squadrons.

As Deputy Director of Bahria University Lahore Campus, Cdr Faisal is responsible for all academic / examination and administrative aspects including HR management, security, discipline and co / extracurricular activities. In addition, he is undertaking Leadership classes of MBA.

Cdr Faisal has been conferred the award of Tamgha- e- Basalat by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for extraordinary Courage and Valour.
