Aziza Faryal Naseem
Batch of MBA 2009 – Karachi Campus
Founding Principal Pamir Private School Sharjah

I had completed my MBA in marketing from Bahria University Karachi Campus and then moved immediately to Dubai. I got my first job as a Marketing executive in an Audit firm and soon I was promoted as Marketing Manager. During the first three years in the UAE market, I worked with big companies and brands advising them on finance and related consultation as well. Later I was entrusted by my company to work in the education sector for Pakistanis and do the research to explore areas for education investment. My research showed the urgent requirement of Pakistani curriculum school in UAE as there was not enough, and the quality of education was terrible. We worked on the proposal with MOE to decide the location and emirates to open the new school. We took a big step, and I was nominated as the consultant, project manager for this school. I started from design, hiring consultants, and facing the biggest challenge to complete and open the school in 10 months. Alhamdulillah, I achieved this target and opened the school in Feb 2019. Soon after opening, I was appointed as the founding principal of Pamir Private School. We faced the challenge in our first year of operation in the form of COVID -19 and faced the challenge of transitioning the whole in school learning to e-learning. By the Grace of Allah, I completed the challenge and we got a DEVELOPED rating from Sharjah Private Education authority in all areas. It was a big achievement as none of the Pakistani schools including competitors offering the British curriculum did not get this rating. I owe all my success in this limited time to my parents, brother, and my CEO who trusted in me and give me enough confidence to achieve all this. I suggest all my Bahrians to never lose trust and always believe in yourself! Everyone can achieve their goals when their time will come. In the end, I am always will be proud of a Bahrian!
