As you know Thalassemia is a blood disorder passed down through families (inherited) in which the body makes an abnormal form or inadequate amount of hemoglobin. Bahria University is a collaboration with Who is Hussain-Pakistan , Dawat-e-islami , Sary-e-am (Rawalpindi), Tiger force ( Islamabad) and with other 20 external bodies participating ,have taken an initiative. In this activity volunteers can donate blood which will be given to suitable hospitals or blood banks to fulfill the needs of thalassemia patients. The process is immensely fruitful and is aiming to make our Pakistan THALASSEMIA FREE Country.
There will be Free Blood Test reports for blood donors & Thalassemia screening (Complete blood picture).
