BS Environmental Science

  • Applicant for admission MUST MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS set-forth by Bahria University.
  • Candidates are advised to CONFIRM THEIR ELIGIBILITY prior apply.
  • In case of annual system, eligibility will be determined on the basis of result in percentages.
  • In case of semester system, eligibility will be determined on the basis of CGPA obtained out of 4.00.
  • In case the result is shown both in CGPA and percentage, CGPA will be considered.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):

Graduates of the Environmental Science program will:

  • PEO-1. Apply Environmental Knowledge: Graduates will apply foundational knowledge of environmental sciences to analyze and address complex environmental issues in professional settings.
  • PEO-2. Solve Environmental Problems: Graduates will utilize interdisciplinary approaches to develop innovative solutions to environmental problems and promote sustainability.
  • PEO-3. Conduct Environmental Assessments: Graduates will effectively utilize tools and techniques to conduct environmental assessments, monitoring, and research.
  • PEO-4. Promote Environmental Stewardship: Graduates will understand and communicate the impact of human activities on the environment and natural resources, and promote environmental conservation and stewardship.
  • PEO-5. Contribute to Sustainable Development: Graduates will develop and implement sustainable solutions with an ethical approach to environmental challenges, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):

  • PLO-1 Understand and explain the conceptual and empirical aspects within the discipline of environmental sciences.
  • PLO-2 Apply interdisciplinary knowledge to analyze and address environmental issues effectively.
  • PLO-3 Demonstrate adequate ability to utilize tools and techniques applied in environmental sciences.
  • PLO-4 Understand the impact of human activities on the environment and natural resources.
  • PLO-5 Develop sustainable solutions to promote environmental conservation and stewardship with ethical consideration.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Intermediate (F.Sc. Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical) or A-Level (equivalent), ICS, General Science group with a minimum of 50% marks.
