Associate Degree - Computing

Objectives of the Programme:

  • To provide a cost-effective, time-efficient, and marketable educational qualification as prescribed by the HEC.
  • To assist graduates in enhancing their career prospects and to evolve in alignment with international educational norms.

Outcomes of the Programme:

  • There are many possible outcomes for an associate degree in computing, but the two most common are entering the Job Market immediately and continuing on to a bachelor's degree program.

Eligibility Criteria:

Higher Secondary School Certificate/A-levels (involving minimum 12 years of schooling) or an IBCC equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks and having studied Mathematics is the basic eligibility requirement for admission to all Associate Degrees in Computing Programs.

Deficiency Courses:

The students who have not studied Mathematics at intermediate level have to pass deficiency courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in first year including zero semester.
