BAHRIAN VISIT MAJOR UNIVERSITIES ON UK TOUR 

The visit to UK was very challenging and the students gained a lot of experience from the educational institutions there. The faculty had visited the UK a couple of times but for the students, it was their first experience and their response overwhelming upon visiting the western educational institutions.

This was shared by Ali Saeed, Director, Students Affairs, Bahria University with ‘The News’ here Monday as he returned along with a group of students to Pakistan after a two-week visit of UK.

The director said the delegation comprised of 35 students and three faculty members. “After completion of this successful trip, we plan to conduct such tours every year, so that our students are able to compare their educational system with the West” he said.

The students made the trip under the leadership of Ali Saeed, who had taken a trip to UK last month for the career development of the students, cultural exchange and recreation, organized by Bahria University. The main purpose of the tour was to encourage intellectual output through acquaintance with the western world and exchange of inspiration and ideas to give a new direction for gaining knowledge.

The students visited Cardiff University, Swansea University, University of Leicester, Coventry University, Aston University, Queen marry University and Royal Holloway University of London and Greenwhich University. The primary objective behind the university visits was to inform the students about their degree programme and the compare their educational system with the one back home for the latter’s future improvement.
